Aerys Village
An ecological sanctuary on the banks of the Somone lagoon
Nestled on the edge of the Somone lagoon in the Thiès region, Aerys Village is a unique residential project, designed as a haven of peace in the heart of an ecosystem that has been preserved since 1987.
From the outset, the ambition was clear: to be rooted in nature without disturbing it. The layout of the villas was designed to fit in with the existing vegetation, in particular the prosopis present on the site. In addition, around a hundred trees of various species were planted, contributing to the creation of a new reserve of plant biodiversity.
The project is part of a bioclimatic approach, combining sober construction, natural thermal comfort and respect for the environment. It comprises eight independent villas.
Each villa offers generous, functional spaces: bedrooms with private bathrooms, traditional family kitchens, central living room with guest WC, storage and technical areas, private swimming pool and vast terraces overlooking the landscape.
Aerys Village won a WATA award, recognizing the project's architectural quality, environmental commitment and contextual relevance. It embodies a sober, contemporary way of living, where architecture, ecology and well-being come together in harmony with nature.
