Graduated from the \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure d'Architecture de Paris-Malaquais (ENSAPM) in 2013,\u00a0Anne<\/span>-Laure Moreira Mbaye is a French-Senegalese architect. After several professional experiences in France and then Senegal, in 2018 she co-founded Atelier KALM, affirming a desire to think and build differently on the African continent.<\/p>

His local experiences have enabled him to develop a keen awareness of the architectural and urban issues specific to Africa, and to adopt a contextualized stance that is at once sensitive, committed and pragmatic.<\/p>

Convinced that architecture plays a fundamental role in structuring and improving the urban fabric, she directs her work towards the creation of sustainable, responsible and profoundly human spaces. Atelier KALM's approach combines contemporary demands, environmental awareness and social responsibility.<\/p>

The objective is clear: to design bioclimatic architecture, anchored in its environment and respectful of its resources, designed to sustainably improve the living environment. To achieve this, each project promotesuse of local and bio-sourced materials<\/strong>\u00a0such as earth, wood or straw, integrates green spaces and emphasizes theorientation and protection of building facades<\/strong>while optimizing\u00a0passive ventilation<\/strong>\u00a0and interior comfort.<\/p>
